Instructor - Geological Sciences teaches courses in the discipline area of geology and earth sciences. Develops and designs curriculum plans to foster student learning, stimulate class discussions, and ensures student engagement. Being an Instructor - Geological Sciences provides tutoring and academic counseling to students, maintains classes related records, and assesses student coursework. Collaborates and supports colleagues regarding research interests and co-curricular activities. Additionally, Instructor - Geological Sciences typically reports to a department head. Has a Master's degree or is a PhD candidate in the applicable field. Has experience and is qualified to teach at undergraduate level and possesses the qualifications to participate in research. This is a full-time, 9-month term position reporting to the Dean of Health Sciences. This position will be involved in the Department of Nursing and the Department of Healthcare Technology. Position filled pending budget approval at TBR Board Meeting in June 2024.

Sedentary: Desk work; travel will be required for college or program activities. Insignificant effort other than normal movement. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Minimal Hazard/Exposure: Standard office settings. At least minimal environmental controls to assure health and comfort.
