  • Spend an incredible summer working with kids and teaching tennis at Camp Zeke! Camp Zeke celebrates healthy, active living through whole foods, sports, fitness, and culinary arts! Our sleepaway camp is located on 560 serene acres in Northeastern, PA, and we have campers ages 7-17.

    Working under the guidance of our experienced Sports Director, we are happy to work with you and your school to help you fulfil intern requirements.

    Responsibilities and Duties:

    • Responsible for the well-being of campers & showing them an amazing summer of growth
    • Live in a cabin with up to twelve campers and three co-counselors
    • As the tennis coach, you will be responsible for developing a curriculum in cooperation with the head of sports, which is appropriate to the varying ages and abilities of our campers. This should include stretching techniques, warm-ups, skill-building drills, as well as training in forehand, backhand, lob, serve, and volley.

    Qualifications and Skills:

    • Work from June 23rd to August 11th, 2024 and live onsite at our camp in Northeastern, PA
    • Passion for summer camp and working with kids
    • Experience working with kids is a big plus, ideally in a camp setting
    • Must be a high school graduate as of June 2024
    • Must have prior experience either playing tennis at a high level, or ideally teaching kids tennis classes
