We are seeking an Information Technology Support Technician to join our team. As an integral part of the team, you will be responsible for providing technical support to employees and maintaining our computer systems and networks. Duties:
- Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, and peripherals.
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues and provide timely resolution.
- Set up and maintain network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Monitor network performance and ensure its reliability and security.
- Provide technical support to end-users for software applications and hardware devices
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as system updates and backups.
- Collaborate with other IT team members to implement new technologies or systems.
- Assist in the development of IT policies and procedures.
Experience:
- Anywhere from 1 to 3 years of experience in IT support or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, networking, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Familiarity with VPNs, firewalls, LANs, and network administration.
- Proficiency in Mac OS is preferred but not required.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with end-users.
