Develops and designs curriculum plans to foster student learning, stimulate class discussions, and ensures student engagement. Being an Instructor - Liberal Arts provides tutoring and academic counseling to students, maintains classes related records, and assesses student coursework. Collaborates and supports colleagues regarding research interests and co-curricular activities. Additionally, Instructor - Liberal Arts typically reports to a department head. Has a Master's degree or is a PhD candidate in the applicable field. Has experience and is qualified to teach at undergraduate level and possesses the qualifications to participate in research. The Studio Coordinator will be responsible to work with the Art Director to coordinate all art studio activities at the Le Mars Arts Center for drop-in customers, scheduled art and crafts classes, children's summer and after-school programs, and art lessons.
Computer, communications, organizational, and positive customer service skills required. Skills and interest in working with children a must. Art experience preferred.
