Develops and designs curriculum plans to foster student learning, stimulate class discussions, and ensures student engagement. Being an Instructor - Liberal Arts provides tutoring and academic counseling to students, maintains classes related records, and assesses student coursework. Collaborates and supports colleagues regarding research interests and co-curricular activities. Additionally, Instructor - Liberal Arts typically reports to a department head. Has a Master's degree or is a PhD candidate in the applicable field. Has experience and is qualified to teach at undergraduate level and possesses the qualifications to participate in research. Position DescriptionLincoln Land Community College is looking for qualified part-time instructors to teach culinary lab classes at our main campus in Springfield during the day and evening.
Position RequirementsApplicants must have 2000 hours of experience in the culinary industry. Industry certification(s) and/or associate degree in Culinary Arts preferred, but not required. Prior teaching experience is preferred, but not required. Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a criminal background check and drug-screen.
