Instructor - Mathematics teaches courses in the discipline area of mathematics and statistics. Develops and designs curriculum plans to foster student learning, stimulate class discussions, and ensures student engagement. Being an Instructor - Mathematics provides tutoring and academic counseling to students, maintains classes related records, and assesses student coursework. Collaborates and supports colleagues regarding research interests and co-curricular activities. Additionally, Instructor - Mathematics typically reports to a department head. Has a Master's degree or is a PhD candidate in the applicable field. Has experience and is qualified to teach at undergraduate level and possesses the qualifications to participate in research.   • The Milwaukee School of Engineering (MSOE) invites applications to fill one or two positions for full-time faculty at the Instructor level in the Mathematics Department starting Fall 2024.  The successful candidates must be committed to teaching all aspects of undergraduate mathematics and collaborating with department faculty on curriculum and course initiatives. An M.S. degree or higher in mathematics and effective communication skills are required. Some teaching experience at the college level and/or expertise in mathematics education are preferred.
