Instructor - Mechanical Engineering teaches courses in the discipline area of mechanical engineering. Develops and designs curriculum plans to foster student learning, stimulate class discussions, and ensures student engagement. Being an Instructor - Mechanical Engineering provides tutoring and academic counseling to students, maintains classes related records, and assesses student coursework. Collaborates and supports colleagues regarding research interests and co-curricular activities. Additionally, Instructor - Mechanical Engineering typically reports to a department head. Has a Master's degree or is a PhD candidate in the applicable field. Has experience and is qualified to teach at undergraduate level and possesses the qualifications to participate in research.     • Contract position for a Mechanical Test Engineer for vibration, shock, and pneumatic testing for electromechanical systems.
    • Testing with thermal chambers and pneumatics.
    • Onsite testing, as well as some travel to outside laboratories.
    • Contract position for at least 6 months.
    Requirements
    • BS Mechanical Engineering
    • Minimum 5 years experience with shock and vibration testing for electromechanical systems and components.
    • Experience with cryogenic testing is a plus.
    • Some travel to outside laboratories.
    • US citizenship or permanent residency is required as position is with a defense contractor.
