Instructor - Music teaches courses in the discipline area of music. Develops and designs curriculum plans to foster student learning, stimulate class discussions, and ensures student engagement. Being an Instructor - Music provides tutoring and academic counseling to students, maintains classes related records, and assesses student coursework. Collaborates and supports colleagues regarding research interests and co-curricular activities. Additionally, Instructor - Music typically reports to a department head. Has a Master's degree or is a PhD candidate in the applicable field. Has experience and is qualified to teach at undergraduate level and possesses the qualifications to participate in research. We are currently looking for an additional Woodwinds Instructor to accommodate our increasing student numbers. A teacher who can handle woodwinds in addition to piano or other instruments is preferable and will have more work available to them. We are looking for a teacher who is willing to teach in studio at our Cumming location several days a week.

Instructors should be prepared to commit to a consistent schedule. This is a great first job for musicians just out of college looking for experience. As a contractor, you set the days you work. We are flexible with scheduling and can work around "day jobs", gigging, and school schedules.
