Instructor - Music teaches courses in the discipline area of music. Develops and designs curriculum plans to foster student learning, stimulate class discussions, and ensures student engagement. Being an Instructor - Music provides tutoring and academic counseling to students, maintains classes related records, and assesses student coursework. Collaborates and supports colleagues regarding research interests and co-curricular activities. Additionally, Instructor - Music typically reports to a department head. Has a Master's degree or is a PhD candidate in the applicable field. Has experience and is qualified to teach at undergraduate level and possesses the qualifications to participate in research. We are a music-based play space and school with locations in Durham and Cary, NC seeking a dynamic music instructor to teach beginning through intermediate level piano in Durham. We teach to all ages but mostly Elementary to Middle school students. Ability to teach other instruments such as guitar and/or voice a major plus! Ability to work well with children a must!
