Instructor - Nursing teaches courses in the discipline area of nursing. Develops and designs curriculum plans to foster student learning, stimulate class discussions, and ensures student engagement. Being an Instructor - Nursing provides tutoring and academic counseling to students, maintains classes related records, and assesses student coursework. Collaborates and supports colleagues regarding research interests and co-curricular activities. Additionally, Instructor - Nursing typically reports to a department head. Has a Master's degree or is a PhD candidate in the applicable field. Has experience and is qualified to teach at undergraduate level and possesses the qualifications to participate in research. Embassy Healthcare is looking for a caring and compassionate Assistant Director of Nursing to help lead our clinical team!
The Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) plans, organizes, develops, and assists with the direction of the overall operation of the nursing department to ensure the highest degree of quality resident care in accordance with all laws, regulations, and Company standards. The ADON reports to Director of Nursing (DON).

Job Requirements:
- Must possess a Nursing Degree from an accredited school.
- Must possess current RN or LPN License and be in good standing with the Board of Nursing.
- At least three years’ experience in nursing administration, including supervision, preferably in a long-term care setting. Knowledgeable about regulations and standards established by Medicare, Medicaid and state and city government.
