Instructor - Nursing jobs in Springfield, OH
Instructor - Nursing teaches courses in the discipline area of nursing. Develops and designs curriculum plans to foster student learning, stimulate class discussions, and ensures student engagement. Being an Instructor - Nursing provides tutoring and academic counseling to students, maintains classes related records, and assesses student coursework. Collaborates and supports colleagues regarding research interests and co-curricular activities. Additionally, Instructor - Nursing typically reports to a department head. Has a Master's degree or is a PhD candidate in the applicable field. Has experience and is qualified to teach at undergraduate level and possesses the qualifications to participate in research. NOW HIRING: Director of Nursing (DON)
Responsibilities Include:
- The primary purpose of your job position is to direct the clinical aspect of the nursing home facility in planning, organizing, developing, and directing the day-to-day functions of the Nursing Service Department in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations that govern our facility, and may be directed by the Administrator, the Medical Director.
- Services, to ensure that the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
- RN in OH
- DON experience necessary
- Must have ADON or Supervisory experience in LTC/SNF
- Interest in the geriatric population
