Instructor - Philosophy teaches courses in the discipline area of philosophy. Develops and designs curriculum plans to foster student learning, stimulate class discussions, and ensures student engagement. Being an Instructor - Philosophy provides tutoring and academic counseling to students, maintains classes related records, and assesses student coursework. Collaborates and supports colleagues regarding research interests and co-curricular activities. Additionally, Instructor - Philosophy typically reports to a department head. Has a Master's degree or is a PhD candidate in the applicable field. Has experience and is qualified to teach at undergraduate level and possesses the qualifications to participate in research.     RESPONSIBILITIES


    What you will do as a Phlebotomy Instructor on our Faculty


    • Prepare and lecture on specified content utilizing the school’s textbook.
    • Administer academic and skills assessments according to the syllabus.
    • Lead hands-on skills labs, including skill demonstration and student feedback.
    • Maintain accurate student records and paperwork including attendance, notes on student progress and conduct in class, and recording and reporting of grades.
    • Complete tasks required by the beginning of a class session including handling of student payments and accepting of student documentation.
    • Practice within the rules and regulations of the school and the state in which the school is located with regard to policy.
    • Follow the curriculum, as set by the Ohio School of Phlebotomy and approved by the state in which the school is located.

    • We offer Phlebotomy classes during both weekdays and weekends during the morning, afternoon, and evening. During the interview and onboarding process, we'll discuss your availability and the teaching schedules that are currently available.     • Receptive: You are willing to ask for help when you need it. You accept feedback openly and are able to learn and grow from it.

    You possess these basic requirements

    • Minimum of 3 years of relevant field experience
    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • Previous teaching experience is not required
    • Authorized to work in the US
