Instructor - Physical Therapy teaches courses in the discipline area of physical therapy. Develops and designs curriculum plans to foster student learning, stimulate class discussions, and ensures student engagement. Being an Instructor - Physical Therapy provides tutoring and academic counseling to students, maintains classes related records, and assesses student coursework. Collaborates and supports colleagues regarding research interests and co-curricular activities. Additionally, Instructor - Physical Therapy typically reports to a department head. Has a Master's degree or is a PhD candidate in the applicable field. Has experience and is qualified to teach at undergraduate level and possesses the qualifications to participate in research.     Responsibilities

    This is a Part Time or PRN Position.

    • Prepares patients for treatment, assisting with transfers and transportation as needed.
    • Prepares equipment and treatment areas for patients.
    • Cleans treatment areas, keeps gym area tidy.
    • Assures supplies in treatment area.
    • Efficient patient set up with modalities to ensure patient safety and comfort.
    • Completes opening and closing duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    • H.S. diploma or GED required.
    • Pre-physical therapy/allied health degree tract preferred or background in health/wellness or personal training.
