Instructor - Physical Therapy teaches courses in the discipline area of physical therapy. Develops and designs curriculum plans to foster student learning, stimulate class discussions, and ensures student engagement. Being an Instructor - Physical Therapy provides tutoring and academic counseling to students, maintains classes related records, and assesses student coursework. Collaborates and supports colleagues regarding research interests and co-curricular activities. Additionally, Instructor - Physical Therapy typically reports to a department head. Has a Master's degree or is a PhD candidate in the applicable field. Has experience and is qualified to teach at undergraduate level and possesses the qualifications to participate in research. Certified Pilates Instructor Needed for Physical Therapy and Wellness Clinic. Matrix Physical Therapy and Wellness is a new state-of-the-art facility in the heart of Santa Monica. We are a physical therapist-owned clinic that utilizes a multi-disciplinarian approach to healing. We are seeking a motivated, friendly, and hard-working team player who excels at patient/client care to join our team. A qualified Pilates instructor is needed for one-on-one sessions with our patients with an occasional two person class. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years experience teaching pilates. A working knowledge of and prior experience working with patients who are post surgical, dealing with pain, and have orthopedic injuries is a major plus. We are looking for Instructors who are self motivated and will also market themselves and our clinic to bring in clients. This is an independent contractor’s position.
