Instructor - Rehabilitation teaches courses in the discipline area of rehabilitation and therapy. Develops and designs curriculum plans to foster student learning, stimulate class discussions, and ensures student engagement. Being an Instructor - Rehabilitation provides tutoring and academic counseling to students, maintains classes related records, and assesses student coursework. Collaborates and supports colleagues regarding research interests and co-curricular activities. Additionally, Instructor - Rehabilitation typically reports to a department head. Has a Master's degree or is a PhD candidate in the applicable field. Has experience and is qualified to teach at undergraduate level and possesses the qualifications to participate in research. Job Duties:
Minimum Requirement:
- Must pass our employment test which consists of Algebra 1 and some Geometry. (Higher math skills welcome.)Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized math tutoring to students in a group setting.
- Utilize Mathnasium learning plans while tutoring students.
- Help students understand complex concepts and improve their problem-solving skills.
- Assist students with homework assignments and exam preparation.
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback to center director.Experience:
- Previous experience working with children and teenagers is preferred.
- Strong knowledge and expertise in math.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain difficult concepts in a clear and concise manner.
- Patience and the ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs.
- Reliable and punctual.
