Job Summary and Qualifications

Our Social Worker Supervisor provides leadership for social work staff ensuring quality and integrity of care delivered. What You Will Do In This Role:

• Provides leadership for social work staff ensuring quality and integrity of care delivered. Working supervisor able to execute the job description of the social worker. Working supervisor with leadership focus on facilitation of care across the continuum for transplant patients care
• Provides clinical supervision and direction to staff regarding complex cases
• Ensure compliance both regulatory and licensure
• Plan and coordinate educational needs to enhance clinical performance
• Responsible for fiscal and human resource allocation based upon departmental guidelines
• Participate in the recruitment, interviewing, selection, orientation, development and on-going evaluation/retention of social work staff.
• Promote a supportive environment that encourages teamwork

What Qualifications you will Need:

• Master’s degree in Social Work from a school accredited by the Council of Social Work Education
• Recent working experience with assigned patient population desirable
• Hospital supervision experience preferred
• Three years post MSW experience preferred
• Current licensure by the State of Texas Board of Social Work examiners through the Texas department of Health
• Advanced certification by approved accreditation board preferred
• Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW)
