Instructor - Sociology teaches courses in the discipline area of sociology. Develops and designs curriculum plans to foster student learning, stimulate class discussions, and ensures student engagement. Being an Instructor - Sociology provides tutoring and academic counseling to students, maintains classes related records, and assesses student coursework. Collaborates and supports colleagues regarding research interests and co-curricular activities. Additionally, Instructor - Sociology typically reports to a department head. Has a Master's degree or is a PhD candidate in the applicable field. Has experience and is qualified to teach at undergraduate level and possesses the qualifications to participate in research. Responsibilities
• Attend the rehearsals, band camps, and performances, actively participating in assisting students in sectional and whole group rehearsals.
• Teach drumline basics (marching techniques and stick/mallet techniques) and develop consistent warm-up procedure.
• Instruct and rehearse percussion (battery and pit) music and drill for marching band pregame and halftime show.
• Enforce discipline and sportsmanlike behavior at all times.
Availability
• 2024 Band Camp: August 5-10 (approx 6 hours per day)
• 2024 Home football games: Aug. 30, Sept. 6, Sept. 20, Sept. 11 (approx 4 hours per game)
• 2024 Competitions& Festivals: Sept. 28, Oct. 12, Oct. 16, Oct. 19 (approx 8 hours per competition) - 4 Days Ago

Mays Island, in the middle of the river, is the only area of the city where addresses have no quadrant.
