We're looking for someone for our 2024-2025 academic year with a start date of August 5, 2024. The ideal candidate will be creative, goal-oriented and excited to join our talented team as we continue working to get our students excited about learning. Teaching experience is essential, Special Education experience is a plus. Our classes include Art, Language Arts, Math, Social Emotional Learning/Executive Functioning, Science and Social Studies. The position is flexible...our hours are Monday through Thursday, 8:00am to 3:00pm and Friday 8:00am to 2:00pm.

Responsibilities:

• assist with small group and individualized instruction
• Utilize a multi-sensory approach including manipulatives to help students understand learning concepts when possible
• Maintain classroom routine and assist with transitions
• Maintain classroom organization
• Encourage and motivate students with a positive outlook
• Communicate effectively with parents and co-workers
• Adhere to all policies and procedures

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 34 per week
