Job Summary:
We are seeking an Instrument Technician trainee to join our team. As an Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for performing a variety of duties related to the maintenance and repair of instruments and equipment. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.
Duties:
- Perform maintenance, calibration, and repair of various instruments and equipment
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with instruments and equipment
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure proper functioning of instruments
- Start in the small motor department
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance repairs
- Collaborate with other technicians to resolve complex technical issues
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience as an Instrument Technician or similar role would be nice
- Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude
- Proficient in the use of hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment
- Ability to solder is preferred but not required
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Customer service-oriented mindset
