Welcome to Insulation Labs, a leading insulation contractor in the greater Los Angeles area. We are currently looking for an insulation crew Driver and Helper to join our team. The position requires a valid Class C driver's license and maintaining an impeccable driving record. The ideal candidate will have prior experience driving box trucks, be physically fit for various tasks beyond driving, and be available to overtime and weekend shifts.

As the Entry Level Insulation Installer, your primary responsibilities include transporting the crew to and from job sites, aiding in loading and unloading the truck, setting up our work-related equipment at the job site, ensuring coverage of work areas for protection, cleaning attics and other areas from old insulation, installing new insulation, supporting the insulation crew in all of their daily tasks, and effectively communicating with clients at the job site.

Location: Van Nuys, CA

Schedule:

• Shifts start at 6:00 AM
• Monday through Saturday

Duties include:

• Aid in loading and unloading the truck.
• Drive the insulation crew to and from project locations.
• Provide customer service and effectively communicate with clients at the job site.
• Plan ahead to prevent and resolve problems.
• Communicate clearly with the lead installer and management for smooth execution.
• Ensure coverage of work areas for protection.
• Organize floor-level setup, ensuring equipment, tools, and trash are safely managed.
• Operate insulation vacuum on and handle materials for the crew.
• Perform a job site review at the beginning and at the end of the job.
• Maintain the vehicle and other work-related equipment.
• Clean attics and other areas from old insulation and debris.
• Install new insulation.
• Support the insulation crew in their daily tasks.

Requirements:

• Authorized to work in the US (must)
• Must be bilingual, fluent in both English and Spanish (must)
• Class C driver's license (must)
• Minimum 3 years of driving experience (must)
• Clean driving record (must)
• Experience driving box trucks (preferred)
• Experience in attic cleaning and insulation installation (preferred)
• Physically fit to push, lift, and carry weights of approximately 50 lbs (must)
• Available to work overtime and weekends per company's needs (must)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 50 – 60 per week
