What You Will Do

· Work collaboratively with other accounting staff.

· Prepare and present financial reports and estimates to decision makers.

· Utilize technical skills to create charts and graphs for visual understanding.

· Resolve and improve vendor payments and customer collections.

· Perform inventory and product costing, track project costs.

· Support tax preparation, insurance renewals and benefit administration.

· Audit freight, duty and utility expenses, identify savings opportunities.

· Provide solutions to accounting issues as they arise.

· Investigate and provide feedback on accounting irregularities.

Qualifications for Accountant

· Master's degree in accounting, finance, business, or related fields preferred.

· Critical math skills and a proven ability to reconcile complex transactions.

· Strong familiarity with productivity tools such as Microsoft Office Suite

· Prior experience using accounting and ERP software.

· Experience using data visualization tools.

· Ability to quickly learn industry-related regulations quickly and utilize information in written reports.

· Comfort preparing and delivering reports to decision makers.

· Strong critical thinking skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
