Insurance Customer Service Representative jobs in Rochester, NY

Lombard & Cecil Insurance Agency is ready to welcome a full-time Customer Service Representative to our friendly and informal workplace. You will not find any corporate nonsense or old-fashioned hierarchy, but you will find dogs. Here you will focus on personal insurance and small commercial customers. Preferred candidates will have two years experience in Property/Casualty insurance and be licensed in NYS. Responsibilities:

● Answer incoming calls and respond to emails and faxes with regard to billing, premium, coverage changes, issuing auto ID cards, applications, endorsements, and other business needs

● Quoting new policies, rewriting policies to different carriers when necessary

● Handle other types of servicing calls such as dealerships, banks, additional insureds, etc.

● Maintain working knowledge of underwriting guidelines, insurance laws and regulations

● Assisting with policy renewals

● Obtain 15 hours of continuing education credits every two years in order to maintain your license

Skills:

● Effective communication and computer skills

● Property/Casualty license

● 2 Years insurance experience preferred

Schedule:

● Monday to Friday in person at our office in Fairport NY
