Intake Coordinator conducts initial assessments of patients to determine mental health needs and establish care requirements. May assign patients to mental health practitioners based on intake assessments. Being an Intake Coordinator requires a bachelor's degree in a related area. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Intake Coordinator occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. What You’ll Do
The Intake Coordinator is responsible for the coordination and oversight of the intake process including pre-assessment screening, scheduling of assessments and short term case management services to ensure individual is referred successfully to the appropriate level of care. The Intake Coordinator will work collaboratively with all programs to ensure timely linkages to services.
How you’ll Benefit
You’ll earn a competitive salary $41,000- $46,000 based on your experience, plus enjoy a work schedule Monday through Friday 9am-5pm.
