The Telecommunications Engineer II is an experienced professional providing engineering services to develop new and maintain existing communication systems for Cleco. Responsible for the preparation of equipment, service specifications and drawings for equipment field installations that meet customer needs by selecting the best possible approaches available within established systems. Manage network devices related to the Field area networks, devices ranging from radios, switches, routers, wireless and access points. Maintain telecommunications equipment and services databases all while ensuring compliance with all FCC and regulatory required policies. Track expenditures for capital projects and prepare and submit budgets for capital and O&M projects.
