Interface Design Director - Web manages a department of designers that apply user-centered design principles to improve the workflow, expand the functionality, and enhance the visual appeal of websites and mobile apps. Manages the gathering of requirements from users and stakeholders and guides development of the overall information architecture. Being a Interface Design Director - Web works with directors and management to allocate resources appropriately to new products and features. Requires knowledge of visual design and wireframing/prototyping tools. Additionally, Interface Design Director - Web requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The Interface Design Director - Web typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be a Interface Design Director - Web typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience. Salary range for this position is $65,956-$77,584; Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity.
POSITION SUMMARY: The Interface Specialist is responsible for the technical support of interfaces and system integration including Application to Application (A2A) and Business to Business interfaces (B2B). This position works closely with those we serve to troubleshoot and correct problems relating to interface and file transfer system functionality , assists with conversions to and implementations of software products, and develops interfaces to provide integration between systems as well as business partners internal and external to OSF HealthCare. The Interface Specialist is proactive in identifying Enterprise-wide application requirements and communicating solutions to Information Technology management. Participates in all phases of the system development life cycle.
QualificationsREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Education: High School/GED
Other Licenses/Certifications: Must have at least one certification in area of discipline within 18 months of hire. Certification could be obtained through internally provided training. Certifications must be maintained.
Experience: 1 year work experience with using information technology
Other skills/knowledge: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software. Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Education: An Associate's Degree in related field
Experience: Experience with using information technology in Healthcare industry Experience with key OSF applications.
