Interior Aircraft Assembly Manager manages the interior fabrication of aircraft including mechanics, the fitting of sub-assemblies to the aircraft, and final aircraft interior production. Ensures compliance with all engineering, FAA, and customer regulations and specifications. Being an Interior Aircraft Assembly Manager ensures projects are completed on time and within budget. Acts as advisor to interior assembly team regarding projects, tasks, and operations. Additionally, Interior Aircraft Assembly Manager requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a unit/department head. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. The Interior Aircraft Assembly Manager typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Hours: 2nd Shift 3pm-1am Monday-Thursday, OT on Fridays needed.

Responsibilities:
- Follow established job order specifications as applicable and always adhere to Safety and Quality policies
- Complete assigned manufacturing tasks using specified machinery and equipment
- Push product through designated machine, catch and stack product onto pallet using a pallet jack
- Glue product as indicated by order requirements
- Bundle and tie according to the specifications
- Read and interpret drawings and record measurements
- Ensure orders are prepared to the correct length, width, thickness, bundle amounts
- Perform housekeeping tasks (sweep, empty trash, process scrap, etc.) as required
- Cross train in other areas to support business goals and objectives
- Perform and/or assist in other areas of plant as needed.
- Must be able to lift 25-50 lbs. on a regular basis
- Able to work in a fast-paced work setting
- Must be able to stand for long period of time
- Ability to read blueprints & use a measuring tape
- Ability to work flexible hours including overtime
- Must be able to work in a paper dust environment
- Must be able to work in a non-temperature control environment
- Must be able to wear required PPE: Steel toed boots, safety glasses, ear protections.
- Must submit to a drug screening and paid background checks.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
