Interior Aircraft Assembly Manager manages the interior fabrication of aircraft including mechanics, the fitting of sub-assemblies to the aircraft, and final aircraft interior production. Acts as advisor to interior assembly team regarding projects, tasks, and operations. Additionally, Interior Aircraft Assembly Manager requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a unit/department head. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. Oversee installations, conduct inspections, and implement quality control measures, including the measurement and installation of materials. Manage installers and subcontractors, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback to ensure high-quality workmanship. Perform other duties as assigned. Skills & Qualifications: Clean driving record and valid license. Entry-level computer skills with knowledge of basic systems, applications, and the use of handheld devices and tablets. Effective communication skills with customers and employees. Proficiency in basic math for calculations such as percentages, area, circumference, linear feet, yardage, and square footage. Ability to read and comprehend plans, builder communications, training materials, safety rules, and procedure manuals. Capable of writing routine reports and correspondence. Experience leading a team or crew in a construction environment. Minimum of 4 years of experience in multiple trades including tile, wood, vinyl, carpet, countertops, and cabinets. Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, sit, walk, bend, and stoop for extended periods (8 hours). Minor lifting and carrying may be required.
