Sales Person/Designer

We are a window treatment company with 36 years of experience in Colorado Springs. We specialize in custom fabric treatments and bedding, and we offer blinds, shades, and shutters. We believe in dealing fairly and honestly with our clients, creating spaces they will love for years to come. We offer each client an initial free 2 hour consultation (sometimes follow up appointments are necessary - also free), during which time we measure, educate, design, price, and sell various types of ‘hard’ and ‘soft’ treatments, completing the necessary paperwork along the way.

You are an experienced sales person with a design background. Or vice versa. Experience selling window treatments is a huge plus! Excellent customer service skills are a must. You have a passion for helping people love where they live. You are easy to get along with and have a good attitude.

The job is a mix of in-home window treatment sales and assisting the lead the designer on a variety of projects in and around Colorado Springs.

You will be expected to:

Use your own reliable vehicle.

Learn the online order entry system for each vendor.

Attend sales meetings with support staff.

Maintain a high close ratio and required GPM.

Attend your clients’ installations.

Keep up on design trends in our industry.

We will:

Provide all samples and tools.

Provide product and sales training

Supply qualified leads

Support you through each phase of each project

Compensation:

Commission based compensation at 20%-25% of GP, depending on experience.

We supply all leads. Sales from leads supplied by you would be paid at a higher commission rate (negotiable).

This is a 1099 position. You will be hired as a subcontractor. Training wage negotiable, depending on experience.
