Position Summary: We are currently seeking an experienced Interior Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 2 years' experience in high-end residential interior design, demonstrating a strong passion for their craft and the ability to take ownership of projects from conception to completion. Highly motivated and versatile, the successful candidate will collaborate effectively within our design team, displaying exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and flexibility to work on diverse projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the design team to develop innovative design concepts and prepare drawings, boards, and renderings for client presentations.
• Demonstrate proficiency in working on projects of varying scope, scale, and price-point, maintaining excellence in design quality.
• Utilize CAD to draft technical drawings, including detailed custom cabinetry, moldings, lighting, and space planning, providing interior architectural guidance as needed.
• Maintain organized project files containing contacts, schedules, specifications, drawings, and other relevant documentation.
• Create detailed specifications books and red line drawings for client and field crew reference.
• Research and source interior finishes such as cabinetry, flooring, paints, plumbing fixtures, lighting, and wallpaper, liaising with vendors to obtain cost estimates for project budgeting.
• Conduct client meetings, prepare meeting minutes, and manage task lists to ensure project milestones are met.
• Oversee the installation of finishes, including lighting, ensuring adherence to design specifications.
• Manage the design center, catalog product offerings, and pricing.
• Utilize BuilderTrend to propose items to clients and manage orders.
• Assist in generating content from ongoing projects for social media platforms.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited interior design or architecture school.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in an interior design firm specializing in high-end residential projects.
• Extensive knowledge of design principles and aesthetics, with a keen eye for detail.
• Proficiency in sketching and preparing concept drawings.
• Experience using CAD software for architectural design, floorplans, and cabinetry.
• Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with clients, vendors, and project teams.
• Strong work ethic, flexibility, and problem-solving skills.
