This position will support Navarro-ATL. Navarro-ATL is located in Richland, WA, and operates, manages, and maintains the 222-S Laboratory Complex for the Department of Energy. The Navarro-ATL members are Navarro Research and Engineering, Inc. (Oak Ridge, TN), and Advanced Technologies and Laboratories International (Gaithersburg, MD).

Applicant is responsible for applying classroom-based education to gain hands-on practical experience within field of study. Performs a variety of administrative support activities in areas such as Accounting, Audit Preparation, data analysis and other. Provides business core support and assists in the completion of special projects. Contributes to the development of new ideas and concepts. Maintains training and ensures work is completed in compliance with all applicable procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Applicant understands the job and requires direct instruction on daily work and new assignments. Assignments are usually focused while working within established policies and procedures
• Researches, compiles data, and prepares reports
• Communicates verbally and in writing. Refers matters to appropriate staff and/or management for further resolution and follows up as appropriate
• Maintains professionalism and uses practical knowledge in conducting daily work activities
• Understands departmental and company policies, procedures, and practices
• Contacts are typically with individuals within own department and occasionally outside own organization
• Contacts involve obtaining or providing information or data requiring explanation or interpretation.
• Other duties as assigned
