    Large Business and International Director Northeastern Compliance Practice Area (NECPA)

    The following are the duties of this position at the full working level. If this vacancy includes more than one grade and you are selected at a lower grade level, you will have the opportunity to learn to perform these duties and receive training to help you grow in this position.

    • Identifies potential and actual problems, probable causes, and provides recommendations for resolution. Researches a variety of issues, gathers statistics and information, and reports findings for the full scope of a program or function.
    • Monitors, reviews, and evaluates operations and interrelationships with other functions regarding workflow, work redundancy, or systemic problems and provides recommendations to higher levels analyst(s) or supervisor.
    • Verifies completeness of controls to ensure accuracy and compliance with established procedures, guidelines, and formats.
    • Revises procedures, guidelines, and controls as a result of changes in higher level procedures or as instructed by analyst(s) or comparable positions.
    • Prepares memoranda, preliminary reports, and charts showing findings and recommendations.
    Requirements Conditions of Employment

    • Must be a U.S. Citizen or National and provide proof of U.S. Citizenship. (Birth certificate showing birth in the U.S; Unexpired U.S. Passport; Certificate of Citizenship or Naturalization; or Report of Birth Abroad of a U.S. Citizen (Form FS-240))
    • Must successfully complete a background investigation, including a FBI criminal history record check (fingerprint check).
    Qualifications
    Federal experience is not required. The experience may have been gained in the public sector, private sector or One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-timework is considered on a prorated basis. To ensure full credit for your work experience, please indicate dates of employment by month/year, and indicate number of hours worked per week, on your resume.

    You must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement:

    SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: GS-07 LEVEL: You must have at least one year (12 months) of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-6 level in the Federal Service. Specialized experience is experience that is in or related to this position and provided you with the competencies to perform successfully the duties of this position. Examples of qualifying experience may have been gained by performing technical work in support of management and/or program analysis functions which may have included identifying potential and actual problems and probable causes; researching specific issues; gathering pertinent statistics or information, reporting findings and recommending corrective action for the full scope of a program or function; monitoring, reviewing, and evaluating operations and interrelationships with other functions regarding workflow, work redundancy, or systemic problems; and utilizing database or spreadsheet software to enter, revise, manipulate, sort, calculate, store and retrieve data for use by others. Employees must also be within a 200-mile radius of their official assigned post-of-duty (POD) while in a telework status.
