We're seeking an Office Specialist to join our team. Individuals in this position will be responsible for performing clerical tasks such as answering phones, filing, data entry, and scheduling meetings. Applicants must have experience working in an office and follow instructions well.

Responsibilities:

• Answering calls, as well as welcoming and assisting patients and visitors.
• Obtaining and updating patients' personal and health information.
• Operate a variety of computer software packages to perform word processing and task scheduling.
• Delegate and oversee tasks.
• Ensure workplace safety and cleanliness.
• Verify patient medical insurance information.
• Creating and maintaining electronic health records.
• Managing inquiries and relaying messages about scheduling, referrals, and prescription refills.
• Collecting co-payments from patients and following up on medical insurance claims.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $10.00 - $14.00 per hour
