What you will do as an Internal Auditor:                       

• Conducts operational, financial and regulatory compliance audits for the Gaming Commission to assess effectiveness of controls, accuracy of financial records and efficiency of operations.
• Demonstrates proficiency in audit principles, skills, and techniques during the conduct of audits.
• Examines records of departments and interviews team members to ensure proper recording of transactions and compliance with the Nation-State Compact and other applicable regulations.
• Inspects accounting systems to determine their efficiency and protective values.

To be successful as a Internal Auditor, you'll need:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Business Administration with two to four years of experience working as an Auditor or related field preferred OR an Associate’s Degree in Accounting or Business Administration combined with three to five years of experience working as an Auditor or related field, required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel is required.  
• Familiarity with gaming operating processes is a plus.
