International Compliance Manager plans and directs the corporation's comprehensive ethics, business conduct and compliance activities for all international operations under senior management direction. Directs the development and implementation of processes, procedures and systems to meet the entities' compliance activities and reporting requirements. Being an International Compliance Manager oversees the organization's compliance risk management program to assess, prioritize and manage legal and regulatory compliance risks based on the standards of the Federal Sentencing Guidelines as related to the international operating units. Consults with and provides guidance and direction to the international operating company's senior executive in all aspects of the entity's ethics, business conduct and compliance program. Additionally, International Compliance Manager requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The International Compliance Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Extensive knowledge of department processes. To be an International Compliance Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 to 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     What your daily responsibilities look like:

    • Lead, manage, and develop the skills of a team of health and safety professionals
    • Proactively build client relationships and develop business opportunities with current and new clients
    • Oversee various client health and safety projects to ensure deliverables are completed and meet client expectations and budgetary requirements
    • Conduct OSHA compliance audits and assessments in a wide variety of sectors
    • Develop, audit, and update OSHA required and management safety policies
    • Analyze clients and develop Job Safety Analysis, Lockout/Tagout equipment-specific procedures, Confined Space Determinations, and PPE hazard assessments
    • Prepare recommendation reports for clients to minimize hazards and reduce client risks
    • Develop and present effective presentations and safety training programs to all levels of employees

    What you need to succeed in this role:

    • B.S. or M.S. in Occupational Health and Safety, Industrial Hygiene, or related physical/biological sciences
    • A minimum of 10 years of experience is required in occupational safety and health including the investigation, analysis, and evaluation of workplace conditions, practices, programs, and employee injuries
    • In-depth of General Industry OSHA regulations including: LOTO, Emergency Action Plan, PPE, Respiratory Protection, Hearing Protection, Confined Space Entry, Bloodborne, Pathogens, etc.
    • Continued commitment in self-development of knowledge and expertise including participation in professional associations and continuous education
    • Teamwork and collaboration with internal staff members
    • Flexibility and comfort working under tight deadlines and changing priorities.
    • Ability to travel locally and overnight (overnight travel up to 25% of the time)
    • Professional certification (CSP) preferable
    • Proven experience developing effective proposals and reports (consulting experience preferable)
    • Effective client relationship and project management skills.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare technical reports, and present effective employee and supervisory training programs
    • At least 3 years of Management experience
