International Controller jobs in Hialeah, FL

Seeking an experienced Office Controller to join our team. Must be able to multitask and work in an office type setting. The ideal candidate will have office experience in the electrical construction industry in addition to Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, HR and/or Payroll Experience.

Responsibilities:

• Manage financial operations including accounts payable & receivable, job cost accounting, payroll, reconciliations, and cash flow management.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly contract billing and follow up on payments.
• Daily collection calls/emails on past due accounts.
• Receive, organize, and process all contract documents with clients and owners.
• Professional and timely interaction with banks, payroll and benefits providers, CPA/law firms, insurance agencies, etc.
• Process company mail and maintain company files.
• Review, approve and process all vendor and subcontractor invoicing, payments and lien releases.
• Oversee new hire onboarding and HR compliance.
• Manage company licenses and insurances.

Required Skillsets and Qualifications:

• Highly motivated with ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with all levels within and external to the company.
• Communicates effectively and persuasively verbally and in writing, in a professional, diplomatic and tactful manner.
• Must be able to handle multiple priorities with strong attention to detail.
• Proficient in QuickBooks, Excel, and Word.
• Electrical/Construction experience is a plus.
