International Trade Specialist is responsible for coordinating credit and financial activities and obtaining payments for import/export operations. Acts as an advisor on matters of tariffs, markets, and federal and foreign regulations. Being an International Trade Specialist ensures that all filings, documents, and regulatory reporting are completed accurately, in a timely manner, and according to trade laws. Keeps informed of international events and changes to laws and requirements that may impact operations. Additionally, International Trade Specialist may negotiate letters of credit or handle issues with international banks. May require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The International Trade Specialist gains exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. This position works cross-functionally with the Brand teams to ensure all deliverables are completed and aligned with brand standards. The Associate Trade Marketing Manager is responsible for monitoring budgets and utilizing data-driven insights to optimize initiatives and measure the ROI of trade programs.What we will ask you to do:
- Work with the Trade Marketing Director in creating and delivering compelling trade programs, selling tools, and trade communications for the Sales team.
- Work collaboratively with the Sales team to strategically field marketing requests.
- Manage trade POS inventory, order fulfillment, tracking, and restocking of materials for the Sales team.
- Coordinate the tracking and analysis of trade marketing program performance; facilitates improvements as appropriate and leads Program Recapping, Financial Analysis, and ROI.
- Synthesize market intelligence and business metric reporting to aid opportunities for growth.
- Oversee the updating and distribution of marketing presentations (wine slides, comparison sheets, and other materials), along with the internal trade and media site.
- Observe and analyze new trends and competitive activities to seek out innovative ways to build channel effectiveness and efficiency.
- Work cross-functionally with Sales Ops and Brand teams to ensure the creation of materials, allocation numbers, and pricing are aligned in time with budgeted release dates.
- Traffic and code invoices, expense reports, ordering, and monitors programming and point of sales materials (coupons, displays, etc.).
What you will need:- Bachelor’s degree required, Marketing or related field.
- Minimum of 3 – 5 years of trade marketing or relevant wine marketing work experience.
- Ambitious, organized individual who can multi-task and effectively prioritize and manage workload.
- Self-starter, go-getter, and team player who thrives in fast-paced environment with growth opportunities.
- Program and project management skills, including ability to take multiple projects from concept through execution.
- Proven track record in collaborating with others across multiple departments: Sales, Operations, DTC, Compliance, and Winemaking.
