The Associate Trade Marketing Manager assists the Trade Marketing Director in ensuring the successful execution of programs, product launches, and other marketing campaigns. This position works cross-functionally with the Brand teams to ensure all deliverables are completed and aligned with brand standards. The Associate Trade Marketing Manager is responsible for monitoring budgets and utilizing data-driven insights to optimize initiatives and measure the ROI of trade programs.
What we will ask you to do:
- Work with the Trade Marketing Director in creating and delivering compelling trade programs, selling tools, and trade communications for the Sales team.
- Work collaboratively with the Sales team to strategically field marketing requests.
- Manage trade POS inventory, order fulfillment, tracking, and restocking of materials for the Sales team.
- Coordinate the tracking and analysis of trade marketing program performance; facilitates improvements as appropriate and leads Program Recapping, Financial Analysis, and ROI.
- Synthesize market intelligence and business metric reporting to aid opportunities for growth.
- Oversee the updating and distribution of marketing presentations (wine slides, comparison sheets, and other materials), along with the internal trade and media site.
- Observe and analyze new trends and competitive activities to seek out innovative ways to build channel effectiveness and efficiency.
- Work cross-functionally with Sales Ops and Brand teams to ensure the creation of materials, allocation numbers, and pricing are aligned in time with budgeted release dates.
- Traffic and code invoices, expense reports, ordering, and monitors programming and point of sales materials (coupons, displays, etc.).
What you will need:
- Bachelor’s degree required, Marketing or related field.
- Minimum of 3 – 5 years of trade marketing or relevant wine marketing work experience.
- Ambitious, organized individual who can multi-task and effectively prioritize and manage workload.
- Self-starter, go-getter, and team player who thrives in fast-paced environment with growth opportunities.
- Program and project management skills, including ability to take multiple projects from concept through execution.
- Proven track record in collaborating with others across multiple departments: Sales, Operations, DTC, Compliance, and Winemaking.
