Interventional Radiological Technologist jobs in Florida
Interventional Radiological Technologist assists physicians in interventional procedures and provides diagnostic aid by conducting organ or body scans on patients. Administers and records isotope dosage in accordance with established departmental protocol. Being an Interventional Radiological Technologist observes patient during procedure and reports abnormal activity. Typically requires a bachelor's degree, at least 2 years of experience in radiology and registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). Additionally, Interventional Radiological Technologist typically reports to a chief technologist or manager. Interventional Radiological Technologist's years of experience requirement may be unspecified. Certification and/or licensing in the position's specialty is the main requirement. Job Opening Qualifications
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:
- Satisfactory completion of a radiologic technology program which has been accredited by an agency accepted by the ARRT.
Licensure/Certification/Registration:
- Must be registered by the ARRT, or registry eligible, and obtain registry within six months of employment.
- Must hold a current license from the State of Florida as a Certified Radiologic Technologist.
