Inventory Associate jobs in Newark, NJ

Overview
- We are seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Counter to join our team. The Inventory Counter will be responsible for accurately counting and recording inventory levels at various supermarket locations in NJ and NY. Transportation to the store location will be provided in a company van from either Union, West Orange, Belleville NJ, or Staten Island NY, based on employee preference or address.

- Meeting time for inventories may be as early as 5 am
- Average assignment range 3.5 to 6.0 hours
- Return home between 12:30 pm and 2 pm most days
- 3.5 paid interview and evaluation

Responsibilities
- Counting merchandise on shelves and specific areas and inputting quantity
into handheld scanners or calculators

Qualifications
- Basic math and multiplication skills (ex. 4 x 6= 24 8 x 7 =56)
- Must speak and understand English
