About the Role
The Inventory Control Manager is responsible for the coordination and management of all inventory control functions. This includes, but is not limited to, conducting daily cycle counts and book-to-book comparison between the client’s and MLW’s Warehouse Management System. This position will also incorporate responsibilities to meet all requirements set by the Customer and MLW’s Corporate and Regional policies pertaining to Inventory. Planning and reconciliation of all physical inventories, slot audits, daily cycle counting and management of adjustments, logs and tracking of all inventory related activity. Manage an inventory control team and ensure there is proper training and communications within the department and the operation.
What you’ll do:

Inventory Management - Oversee the daily cycle counts, slot audits and the reconciliation of activities between systems. Ensure that all findings are reported in a timely fashion and communicated to the proper persons.

Labor Management - Must oversee the entire Inventory Control department to ensure that all procedures are being followed properly and in a timely fashion.

Quality - Ensure that customer requirements are accurately reported in the timing provided by the customer.

Periodic Duties - Plan, execute and reconcile physical inventories. Run analysis of adjustments activity. Research to reconcile inventory discrepancies. Act as the primary trainer for Inventory Control Clerks.

Intermittent Duties - Retrain and continue to educate staff. Attend industry seminars.

Comply with all Company rules, policies, and procedures. Work and behave safely by following all safety rules and regulations.

And these qualifications:

Five (5) or more years of related Warehousing & Distribution leadership experience and/or training. This related experience may be substituted for degree; or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

Proven track record of successful innovation experience in Warehousing & Distribution.
Extra credit if you have:
- Proven track record of leadership, growth and innovation in the Warehousing & Distribution.

Ability to travel as necessary to various MIL locations, clients, carriers, etc.
