Inventory Control Manager manages inventory control operations. Implements policies, objectives, and initiatives. Being an Inventory Control Manager employs standards, metrics, and procedures that maximize inventory management efficiency. Assists with inventory planning, scheduling, forecasting, and control operations. Additionally, Inventory Control Manager implements Inventory tools and systems for tracking, analysis, auditing, and reporting. Collaborates with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to identify and prioritize initiatives to optimize inventory capabilities and develop best inventory management practices. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Inventory Control Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be an Inventory Control Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. What This Position Is All About:Role Responsibilities:
- Performing complete inventory checks of inbound and outbound flows of merchandise.
- Ensuring all documentation related to inventory flows is complete, accurate, and filed correctly.
- Identifying, challenging, and addressing gaps in the inventory processes flow and transportation merchandise flow.
- Meeting Asset Protection objectives within the Supply Chain Flow.
- Evaluate all freight and ensure accuracy in the transportation flow of merchandise.
- On-site visits for district where they support 3rd party.
- Assist in Physical Inventory Counts and Cycle Counts.
Requirements:
Ability to Travel 25%-30%- Bachelor's degree preferred, however equivalent experience considered
- Asset Protection and/or Inventory Management experience preferred
- Ability to work independently
