Inventory Control Supervisor jobs in Arkansas
Inventory Control Supervisor supervises inventory control operations and teams according to established policies. Follows standard procedures that maximize inventory management efficiency. Being an Inventory Control Supervisor assists with inventory planning, scheduling, forecasting, and control operations. Utilizes Inventory tools and systems for tracking, analysis, auditing, and reporting. Additionally, Inventory Control Supervisor collaborates with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to implement and support initiatives to optimize inventory capabilities using best inventory management practices. May require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Inventory Control Supervisor supervises a small group of para-professional staff in an organization characterized by highly transactional or repetitive processes. Contributes to the development of processes and procedures. To be an Inventory Control Supervisor typically requires 3 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Receive, Store and Issue Materials, Equipment, and other Items from Stockroom, Warehouse or Storage Yard.
- Keep Records and Compile Stock Reports.
- Conduct Purchases for the Site on Spare Parts and Consumable Items Under the Supervision of the Maintenance Planner.
- Strong Knowledge of Industrial Parts and Equipment Used in Manufacturing.
- Deep Understanding of Maintenance Practices and Time Required for Parts Delivery.
- Develop Working Relationship with Vendors and Repair Shops to Efficiently Schedule Parts Delivery and Repairs.
- Work Closely with Accounting and Controller and Understand the Mechanics of Purchasing/Receiving.
- Cycle Count and Inventory Counts.
- Additional Duties as Assigned by Supervisor.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:- High School Diploma or Equivalent Education.
- Three Years’ Experience in Manufacturing Environment.
- Three Years’ Experience in Inventory.
- Must Have Forklift Experience.
- Ability to Understand and Follow Written and Verbal Job Requirements.
- Thorough Knowledge of All MS Office, Windows Including Excel, Word and Outlook.
- Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management System.
- Ability to Work Well in High Places.
- Ability to Climb Ladders, Stairs, Scaffolding and Ramps.
- Ability to Stoop, Kneel, Crouch, Reach, Stand, Walk, Push, Pull, Lift and Grasp.
- Ability to Work Outside in Environmental Conditions.
- Ability to Lift Up to 50 Pounds.
