Position Overview:

The Inventory Manager position performs all tasks involved in the inventory control of the company’s products. This includes Fiber Optic Cable, Connectors, Crimping, Polishing and packing. The position follows standard work methods and practices safe work habits to ensure production is as efficient and safe as possible.

• Maintain proper storage of the materials in the inventory
• Manage the inventory team
• Move materials or completed products or packages to established locations
• Organize inventory in an easy to access process
• Ensure on-line inventory system is updated
• Update inventory counts on inventory system
• Compile inventory reports and spreadsheets
• Assembles panels, cassettes, etc.
• Attach appropriate labels and tags to products and packages.
• Pack finished goods into correct packages and boxes.
• Notify supervisor of any mechanical or material issues.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The position involves sitting, walking and lifting less than 10 pounds for long periods of time throughout the day.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday 7:30 am to 4pm.

Travel Travel after six months on job for training may be expected.

Required Education and Experience

• High school diploma or GED.

Preferred Education and Experience

• Previous production experience.

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
