Responsibilities:
- Manage investment and insurance accounting processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
- Analyze financial data and provide insights to management
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business objectives
- Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including auditors and regulators
- Participate in the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 3-5 years of experience in investment and insurance accounting
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and IFRS accounting standards
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software
