Investor Relations Director directs and oversees an organization's investor relations function. Communicates with shareholders and/or the general financial community to develop and maintain positive relationships. Being an Investor Relations Director implements strategies to ensure the organization's relationships with shareholders reflect positively on the company's stock price. Requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Investor Relations Director typically reports to top management. The Investor Relations Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function. To be an Investor Relations Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience.   • HJH Investments is seeking a Director of Capital Raising and Investor Relations This position is a remote contract position with performance-based pay and is responsible for: 


    • Spearhead all capital raising efforts, including lead generation and cultivation and timely responses to phone and email inquiries and information requests from potential and existing investors.
    • Defining and executing our investor relations vision, strategy and roadmap that aligns with our mission and core values. 
    • Contributing to presentation materials and ad hoc strategic projects for capital raising campaigns.
    • Representing HJH Investments at a variety of events, such as property tours, investor meetings, conferences, etc.
    • Consistently communicate, follow up and create long term relationships with investors.
    • Be familiar with and adhere to all rules, regulations and investment constraints. 
    • Build a positive environment and create strong relationships with investors and team members. 


    To be successful in this role, we are looking for someone who:

    • Is experienced in commercial real estate; prior broker and capital raising experience a plus.
    • Is an excellent collaborator and communicator, both written and verbal.
    • Is self-disciplined and exercises good judgment, with the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
    • Has strong analytical, financial and data management skills.
    • Is a multi-tasker who can drive results while maintaining positive working relationships.
    • Is proactive in problem-solving, taking on new projects and designing better processes.
