Job Overview

IRA Financial is a leading provider of self-directed IRA services. We empower individuals to take control of their retirement investments, especially those interested in alternative assets. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our dynamic team as a Billing Specialist. In this position, you will be responsible for the careful and accurate handling and processing of billing forms, incoming payments, and outgoing invoices. In addition, you will communicate with clients via phone, email and chat, responding to inquiries and concerns in a professional and timely manner.

Responsibilities & Duties

• Effectively and accurately process forms, invoices, payments, and account updates.
• Issue receipts and refunds when appropriate.
• Send invoices and account updates to clients and team members.
• Address client inquiries promptly and professionally through various communication channels (phone, email, and chat).
• Provide proper guidance to clients regarding their billing concerns, exercising patience and compassion while upholding company standards and regulatory practices.
• Securely handle and process all client data and payment information, ensuring privacy and protection is upheld.
• Adhere to industry standards and company policies regarding data security.
• Maintain accurate and organized records of all client interactions and billing-related activities.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as accounting, client relations, and compliance, to ensure seamless and accurate billing processes.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• 1-2 Years Billing Experience (preferred)
• Phone experience (preferred)
• Banking and IRA Experience (preferred)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software
• Strong verbal and written communication
• Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail
