Job Description: We are seeking a dynamic and organized Office Assistant to join our team. As an Office Assistant at American IRA, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office environment. You will provide administrative support to various departments and assist in daily office tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist visitors in a professional and courteous manner
• Answer and direct phone calls to appropriate personnel
• Manage incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and deliveries
• Maintain office supplies inventory and place orders when necessary
• Assist in organizing and scheduling appointments, meetings, and conferences
• Perform data entry and update records and reports as needed
• Assist with filing, scanning, and organizing documents
• Help with various administrative tasks as assigned

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
• Proven experience as an office assistant, administrative assistant, or similar role
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Prior experience in a financial or retirement services industry is a plus

Pay: From $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
