Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Irrigation Technician to join our team. As an Irrigation Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing irrigation systems for residential and commercial properties. This is a hands-on role that requires knowledge of irrigation systems, landscaping, and mechanical skills.Responsibilities:
- Install new irrigation systems based on design plans
- Perform regular maintenance on existing irrigation systems
- Troubleshoot and repair any issues with irrigation systems
- Adjust sprinkler heads to ensure proper coverage and water distribution
- Monitor water usage and make adjustments to optimize efficiency
- Collaborate with landscape designers and contractors to ensure proper installation and functionality of irrigation systems
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and equipment necessary for irrigation system installation and maintenance
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials usedExperience:
- Previous experience as an Irrigation Technician or similar role
- Strong knowledge of irrigation systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair techniques
- Familiarity with landscaping principles and practices
- Ability to read and interpret design plans and blueprints
- Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and equipment related to irrigation systems
- Excellent problem-solving skills to identify issues and find effective solutions
