Shabas Solutions, LLC is a women-owned small business consulting firm providing expertise in scientific, technical, regulatory affairs, quality management, logistics, and project management to public and private sector organizations.

Shabas is looking for an Asset Specialist to work in the Washington, DC, area. The selected candidate performs basic personal property functions. Duties include assisting with physical inventories, reconciliation of inventory discrepancies, and preparing equipment for excess.

• Physical Inventory and quality assurance of results
• Direct search and research of missing property
• Direct search and research of property found on the facility

Requirements:

• A high school diploma, GED, or a bachelor’s degree is required.
• 7 years’ relevant experience with a High School diploma
• 3 years of relevant experience required (if one has a bachelor’s degree)
• Good communication skills and attention to detail
• ITIL or related certification in managing IT assets is a plus.
• A basic understanding of the life cycle of personal property is required.
• Experience with inventorying IT assets is highly preferred.
• US Citizenship and permanent residency is required, and one must be able to pass an extensive background check
• Must be available on-site to perform this role.
