IT Asset Management Specialist jobs in San Antonio, TX

Foresight Asset Management, a nationally recognized provider of affordable housing and support services for residents, is currently seeking a full-time 40 hrs/wk, Senior Compliance Specialist to work in San Antonio, TX.  The Senior Compliance Specialist will assist the Director of Compliance in all areas regarding compliance with Section 42 and Project Based Section 8 compliance programs.  They will help manage each site’s compliance program either directly or in conjunction with available staff to ensure compliance and efficiency.

Essential Job Functions and Associated Task

• Assist the Director of Compliance
• Trains and supports staff and acts as a resource for site staff regarding the site’s compliance programs
• Perform annual and quarterly reviews/audits and state reporting
• Monitors compliance with applicable state, federal and local laws as they relate to housing program/policy
• Actively participate with property management team
• Demonstrate a clear understanding and consistent use of Onesite software
• Complete other projects as assigned

Skills and Experience

• CMTS
• MS Word
• MS Excel
• Windows
• 5 years experience administering federal compliance housing programs
• 5 years working in a property management field

Minimum Requirements

• 5 Years experience Section 42 Tax Credit/Section 8 housing programs
• COS/COM/HCCP or related industry certifications/credentials preferred
• Experience with computerized software, Onesite/Windows/Excel
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent organization and analytical skills
• Detail oriented
• Ability to integrate changes effectively into existing systems
• Ability and willingness to travel to multiple locations as business needs dictate
