Summary/ObjectiveThe Assistant Manager positively impacts customer growth and revenue and ensures store credit is maintained at an appropriate level through sales activities and account management while providing total customer satisfaction.
This role helps manage profit by following established policies and procedures including, but not limited to, cash and inventory controls and order verifications.

The ASSISTANT MANAGER will: Sales:
1.Be responsible for Customer and Revenue growth/maintenance
2.Greet and assist customers on the sales floor
3.Obtain new installment orders on the sales floor and over the phone 4.Complete installment sales agreements as required
5.Prospect for new business by telemarketing and distributing print materials
6.Keep coworkers informed of promotions and productsAccount Management:
1.Maintain accurate records of customer account activity, to include current and past due accounts
2.Review past due accounts and communicate in-person and via phone with the customers to promote timely payments
3.Collect customer payments on a timely basis and meet daily/weekly collection standards
4.Complete customer service calls in a timely manner as assigned
5.Follow all policies and procedures and adhere to all standards Store Supervision:
1.Assist Store Manager with training and providing oversight in absence of Store Manager
2.Assist Store Manager in assigning coworkers to specific duties and work schedules
3.Assist in managing daily operations when necessary
4.Assist Store Manager in making weekly schedules Showroom and Backroom areas:
1.Refurbish merchandise to like new condition 2.Keep showroom, backroom, and all store areas neat, clean and organized, including vacuuming, dusting, and handling household cleaning materials Deliveries & Pick-ups: 1.Assist as needed in loading/unloading truck, or other vehicle, per policy to safely protect coworker and merchandise
2.Assist as needed in delivering merchandise in Company provided vehicle to customer homes
3.Assist as needed in installing and setting up merchandise, and instructing customers on proper use
4.Assist as needed in picking up merchandise from customer homes 5.Complete customer service calls in a timely manner as assigned.
